Astros' Deadly Lineup Scores Double-Digit Runs Again, Take Series vs Padres

The Astros offense really struggled to find consistency throughout much of this season, but they have turned it on as of late.

They finally got healthy with guys like Jose Altuve, Yordan Alvarez and others missing significant time. But in recent days, they have flipped a switch. They got Michael Brantley back for the first time in over a year. Jeremy Pena, Alex Bregman and Jose Abreu have all started hitting. Chas McCormick continues to deliver nice numbers. The Astros bats' have scored double digit runs in four of their last six games.

And on Sunday, they featured what many Astros fans consider their "lineup of death", featuring:

With their 12-2 win on Sunday, they increased their AL West lead to 2.5 games over Seattle, while remaining 3 games up on the Rangers.

Next up, the Astros will play 9 of their next 12 vs the two worst teams in baseball - the Oakland A's and Kansas City Royals.
