Jets Insider Danielle McCartan Talks Texans Heading to New York

Host on WFAN Danielle McCartan joins Next Up to talk about the NFL week 14 matchup between the Houston Texans and the New York Jets. McCartan addresses the Jets' quarterback controversy involving newly-named starter Zach Wilson reportedly saying he did not want to play. Zach Wilson is "a sympathetic figure now" and "you really can't blame him," McCartan said.

When asked about the Jets' defense, McCartan highlights cornerback Sauce Gardner. "There's a little bit of a drop-off" in his second year, but teams are also not targeting him as much.

McCartan also critiques head coach Robert Saleh. "He's not a leader of men," rather he is "a cheerleader on these sidelines."

McCartan concludes by saying the game is "going to be a lot closer than people are thinking," and MLB outfielder Juan Soto is "a perfect fit" for the New York Yankees.
