CJ Stroud calmly delivered strike after strike, the Texans defense delivered two pick-6s off Joe Flacco, and DeMeco Ryans got his first playoff win with the Houston Texans on Saturday, winning 45-14.
Stroud went 16-for-21 for 274 yards with three touchdowns and no turnovers, a 76% completion percentage and a 157.2 passer rating. The Texans rookie quarterback was outstanding in his playoff debut, as was the rookie head coach Ryans. Stroud became the youngest starting quarterback to win an NFL playoff game, surpassing Michael Vick.
Houston will await the rest of the AFC playoff games to play out to see who their opponent next week will be.
