Joe Espada said on Wednesday that Justin Verlander will throw a bullpen on Thursday at Minute Maid Park, and is on pace to make a rehab start with Sugar Land on Sunday. He’s expected to need at least two rehab starts, and if all goes well, could rejoin the Astros rotation around April 17th vs Atlanta.
