NFL Insider Aaron Wilson: Texans Will Draft 'At Least One Defensive Back'

KPRC reporter Aaron Wilson joins Next Up as the Houston Texans begin organized offseason workouts. "Most of these guys work out year-round," Wilson said.

The NFL Draft begins with the first round on Thursday, April 25, and "most people think [the Texans] will come away with at least one defensive back."

The Texans hosted South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler on visit last week, and Wilson says he isn't throwing out the Texans drafting a quarterback because "aspiring quarterbacks like that can be valuable."

The Texans have signed a lot of new players in free agency, especially wide receiver Stefon Diggs who will "add competition to the room." This will be a "competitive training camp," and "when they do cuts, it's going to be familiar names," Wilson said.
