Report: José Urquidy Seeing Dallas Doctor, Tommy John Surgery on the Table

According to multiple reports, Houston Astros pitcher Jose Urquidy is seeing Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas for a second opinion on his forearm injury, and could be headed for a second Tommy John surgery. Brutal news for a guy who was one rehab start away from making his season debut with the Astros just last week.

Urquidy is under Astros team control for 2025, but would become a free agent in 2026.
