Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt was named the NFL Players Association Community Most Valuable Player this week for his work raising more than $29 million in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.
Displaced in Dallas during the historic storm, Watt started a relief fund on YouCaring.com with an initial goal of $200,000. He donated $100,000 and then shared through social media a video asking people to donate.
The fund has grown astronomically.
