Defense Shines as Rockets Blow Out Warriors

The Rockets defense forced the Warriors to shoot 22.2% from behind the arc Thursday night in a 107-86 victory. The starting five for Golden State shot 0-9 from three as Houston’s defense continues to play well.

Leading the offense for the Rockets was James Harden, scoring 27 points. James Ennis III had his best offensive night of the season with 19 points.

With the win, Houston has won three straight and are 6-2 in their last eight games. They improve to 7-7 on the season.

Up next are the Sacramento Kings, Saturday night from the Toyota Center. Tip-off will be at 7:00pm.
