Rockets Break NBA Record, Hit 26 3-Pointers in Win

In a 136-118 win over the Washington Wizards Wednesday night, the Houston Rockets broke an NBA record with 26 made 3-point buckets. With the win, the Rockets have now won five straight.

James Harden made six 3s, Chris Paul had five and the combo of Gerald Green and Eric Gordon knocked down four each. Houston shot 47% from behind the arc and 55% from the field.

Harden led the Rockets in scoring with 35 points. Paul had 21 points, Clint Capela added 20 points, Gordon contributed 16 points and PJ Tucker manufactured 11 points. Green scored 12 points off the bench in the victory.

The five game winning streak ties the longest of the season. Houston travels to Miami to take on the Heat Thursday night at 7:00pm CT.
