Sit Back, Relax and Enjoy the Harden Show

Mama, there goes that man! James Harden continued to play somewhere else except on planet Earth last night against the Golden State Warriors. Harden dropped his 5th straight 40-point game with a 44 point, 15 assist and 10 rebound triple-double to lead the Rockets in a 135-134 OT win. Harden hit a game-winning 3-pointer with one second left to secure the win. The best part about that game-winner, it was over Draymond Green.

Harden has now scored at least 30 points in 111 straight games and is averaging 40.1 points in the last 12 games.

With Chris Paul and Eric Gordon both sidelined with injuries Thursday night, Harden would need help to defeat the Warriors and he got it. Clint Capela had a double-double of 29 points and 21 rebounds. Austin Rivers scored 18 points as Danuel House Jr. was right behind with 17 points. Gerald Green came off the bench and knocked down 16 points in 30 minutes of play to give a huge boost in the victory.

Houston is now 11-1 in their last 12 games and have jumped from the 14th seed to the 4th seed in the Western Conference with a 22-15 record. The team travels to Portland to take on the Trailblazers Saturday night at 9:00pm CT.
