Harden Notches Triple-Double, Rockets Rout Cavs

Another game, another triple-double for James Harden. The Rockets blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday night with a 141-113 win at the Toyota Center.

Harden had 43 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds to record another 40-point triple-double. This is Harden’s 15th straight game with at least 30 points, a franchise record 13th game with 40 points in a season and the seventh in the last nine games. To make it that much better, Harden only needed three quarters to notch the triple-double.

Every starter recorded double figures in points as every single Rockets player scored at least four points in the victory. Houston went 20-52 from behind the arc, shooting 38.5%. The team shot 51.7% from the field, knocking down 46-89.

The Rockets improve to 24-17 on the season and will travel to Orlando to play the Magic Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00pm CT.
