Harden’s 30-Point Streak Comes to an End in Win Over Hawks

James Harden’s streak of scoring 30 or more points ended at 32 straight games Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks. Houston Beat Atlanta, 118-111.

Harden scored 28 points in the win with the streak being the second longest streak in NBA history. The longest streak belongs to Wilt Chamberlain with 65 consecutive games.

Chris Paul scored 20 points and Kenneth Faried had 13 points and 10 rebounds. Faried has scored at least 10 points in all 15 games since becoming a Houston Rocket. Off the bench, Eric Gordon chipped in 16 points and Gerald Green had 11 points.

The Rockets improve to 35-25 on the season and will travel to Charlotte to battle the Hornets on a Wednesday at 6:00pm CT.
