Eric Gordon Scores 26 as Rockets Survive Mavericks, 94-93

Eric Gordon led the way for the Rockets as they survived as scare from the Mavericks, 94-93. Playing in Dallas Sunday night, the Mavericks had a shot to win the game as time expired but Chris Paul swatted the ball away to secure the win.

Gordon scored 26 points as James Harden played a large majority of the second half with five fouls. Harden finished with 20 points. Clint Capela registered a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds. Gerald Green had 11 points off the bench.

It's a rare occasion when the Rockets don't score over 100 points but they found a way to win. The team only shot 36% from the field and 31% from three.

With the win, Houston has now won 8 straight to improve to 41-25 on the season. The Rockets will return home to take on the Charlotte Hornets Monday night at 7:00pm.
