The Houston Rockets won their season high ninth game in a row Monday night by defeating the Charlotte Hornets, 118-106.
James Harden led the team in scoring with 28 points and 10 assists with Eric Gordon putting in another good performance with 22 points. Gordon made five three's for the third straight game. Clint Capela had a double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds. Chris Paul also had a double-double of 10 points and 10 assists. Kenneth Faried returned to the lineup after being sidelined for five games with a hip injury. Faried scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He's scored at least 10 points in 16 of the 17 games since being acquired by Houston.
Golden State will visit the Toyota Center Wednesday night as the Rockets host the Warriors. Houston will look to sweep the season series for the first time since 2009. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30pm.
