CP3 Drops 25 as Rockets Use Big 3rd Quarter in Win Against Timberwolves

The Rockets scored 43 points in the third quarter to lead the way over the Timberwolves Sunday night, 117-102.

Chris Paul tied a career high making six 3-pointers while scoring 25 points and dishing out 10 dimes.

James Harden played through a strained neck that he suffered against the Suns and contributed 20 points while also having 10 assists. Clint Capela also had a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds. Eric Gordon knocked 4 three’s to help with 12 points. Danuel House played 28 quality minutes off the bench and dropped 14 points with seven rebounds.

The Rockets shot 42% from behind the arc and 46% from the field to improve to 44-26 on the season. Houston will travel to Atlanta for a battle against the Hawks Tuesday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30pm CT.
