Paul George hit a game winning three with 1.8 seconds left in the game to down the Rockets, 112-111. Houston gave up a 14 point lead in the fourth to lose to the Thunder Tuesday night from OKC.
James Harden scored 39 points and Chris Paul had 24. The Rockets fell to the third spot in the Western Conference standings with the loss.
Gerald Green came off the bench and scored 15 points. Jeff Bzdelik coached in place of Mike D’Antoni who has been hospitalized with an intestinal virus.
Now, the Rockets have to sit back and watch to see where they end up in the standings. If Portland beats the Lakers and Kings and if the Nuggets beat the Timberwolves, Houston could fall to the fourth seed.
