Collin McHugh gave up just four hits Friday night but three of them were solo home runs as the Astros fell to the Indians, 6-3.
McHugh tossed 5.2 IP and struck out nine to bounce back from a rough outing last week against the Rangers. His final line: 5.2 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 9 K and 3 HR. Hector Rondon gave up a two run double in the 7th and received the loss.
Michael Brantley continued to stay hot by going 2-5 with a double. Robinson Chirinos and Yuli Gurriel both went 2-4. George Springer, Alex Bregman and Chirinos had the three RBI for the Astros.
The series will continue Saturday afternoon as Brad Peacock takes the mound for Houston. First pitch is scheduled for 3:05pm.
