Harden, Gordon Lead Rockets to 126-121 OT Win Over Warriors, Series Now 2-1

James Harden scored 41 points and Eric Gordon had 30 points to lead the Rockets to an OT victory over the Warriors 126-121, Saturday night.

Gordon's 30 points were a playoff career-high as he knocked down seven three's. He scored 13 of those points in the second quarter which gave the Rockets a 58-49 at the break. Chris Paul added 14 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Clint Capela played much better than the two previous games with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Capela was a force on the defensive end and in the pain to go along with his double-double. P.J. Tucker put in a gritty and tough game that played a huge role in the win. Tucker had 12 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and seven points. Paul said after the game of Tucker, "Tuck doesn't do any of the glamorous stuff..he is one of the most valuable guys on our team."

Iman Shumpert and Austin Rivers added valuable minutes off the bench. Shumpert had 10 points while Rivers had eight points. Their energy and hard defense also played a key role in the win.

Houston cut the series lead to 2-1 with game four coming on Monday night at Toyota Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30pm.
