Marisnick's Homer and Defensive Gems Lead Astros to 4-3 Win Over Red Sox

The Houston Astros opened up a three game weekend series with the Red Sox Friday night by beating the visiting team, 4-3.

Jake Marisnick hit a home run early in the third inning to add to the Astros' lead and then made two hit stealing grabs to help Houston to a win. Marisnick went 2-4 with two RBI.

Wade Miley earned his 5th win of the season with another solid outing. He tossed six innings of four hit ball while surrendering one earned run. Miley struck out eight and walked two. Roberto Osuna closed it out to record his 13th save of the season.

George Springer returned to the lineup after missing a few games due to back stiffness. Springer had an RBI but left the game with a left leg injury.

Houston will continue the series with Boston Saturday night. Brad Peacock is on the mound for the Astros.
