According to a report from TMZ Sports, multiple owners of NBA teams are looking to get away from the term "owner" because it may be thought of as "racially offensive" to use in a leauge with predominantly black players. There have been changes for some teams, for example Steve Ballmer of the Clippers is simply known as the "chairman."
