Longtime Houston sports writer and analyst Max Edison passed away last Friday. For "In The Trenches" listeners, they'll know Max from his hundreds of appearances on the show, as well as many times he filled in as a co-host. Max was a staple of Houston sports for a long time, and never shied away from strong opinions. Many will recognize him for his longtime work as editor and writer at the Houston Defender as well.
