Astros Sweep Arlington as Brantley Hits Two Home Runs

The Astros completed the series sweep of the Rangers Sunday afternoon with a 5-3 victory at Minute Maid Park.

Michael Brantley hit two homers and Jose Altuve also went deep as Houston won their fifth straight. Brantley went 3-3 with three RBI to bump his average up to .332. Altuve and Yordan Alvarez both had two hits and an RBI in the win.

Rogelio Armenteros recorded his first win on the mound, throwing five solid innings. He struck out six, walked two and gave up just one earned run. Roberto Osuna earned his 22nd save of the season.

Houston will welcome the Oakland A's Monday night with Gerrit Cole taking the mound. Cole is 10-5 on the season, looking for his 11th win.
