Greinke Deals to Earn 200th Career Win as Astros Beat A's 4-1

The Houston Astros came into Sunday afternoon on a five game losing streak and needed a solid outing to get them back on the winning track. Zack Greinke came out and did just that. Greinke threw seven strong innings to lead the Astros to a 4-1 win.

Greinke earned his 200th career win while improving to 3-0 since being traded to the Astros. He gave up one run on four hits while striking out six and walking three. Greinke has a 2.37 ERA in his three starts for Houston.

Alex Bregman led the offense with four hits including a go-ahead, three-run bomb in the 5th inning. Yuli Gurriel hit an RBI double in the 6th to add an insurance run. Michael Brantley recorded his 50th multi-hit game of the season with two hits and a walk.

Houston will return home to open up a 10 game home stand beginning with the Detroit Tigers. Wade Miley will take the mound for game one of the series with first pitch coming at 7:10pm.
