Russell Westbrook recorded a double-double in a 131-124 victory over the Timberwolves Friday night.
Westbrook led the Rockets in scoring with 45 points and 10 assists. He was 16-27 from the field while knocking down 13 free throws on 13 attempts. Eric Gordon had another big game off the bench, scoring 27 points. James Harden struggled shooting in the win as he had just 12 points.
Clint Capela added 18 points and nine rebounds with Austin Rivers contributing 16 points in 19 minutes off the bench.
Houston improves to 28-16 on the season and will take on the Denver Nuggets Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:30pm CT.
