Eric Gordon went off for a career-high 50 points Monday night as the Rockets beat the Jazz, 126-117. Gordon went 6-11 from the behind the arc and shot 14-22 from the field.
Houston was without James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Clint Capela but that didn't matter with Gordon leading the way. Danuel House scored 21 points and 11 rebounds as Austin Rivers also dropped 21 points in the win. Harden sat out with a bruised left thigh, Capela with a bruised right heel and Westbrook sat out due to rest.
The Rockets shot 47% from the field and 38% from the three-point line.
Next up for Houston will be the Portland Trailblazers in Portland Wednesday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:00pm CT.
