The Texans plan to work out former Pro Bowl safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix at their rookie minicamp, according to a league source. Clinton-Dix is a former Green Bay Packers first round draft pick from Alabama and a 2016 Pro Bowl selection. He has 522 career tackles and 16 interceptions. Cut by Dallas Cowboys before the start of regular season last year, Clinton-Dix last played in the NFL in 2019 with the Chicago Bears. In other news, sources said the Texans have signed third-round wide receiver Nico Collins (Michigan), fifth-round tight end Brevin Jordan (Miami) and sixth-round defensive tackle Roy Lopez.
