Breaking News: Texans trade for Anthony Miller

The Texans have negotiated a trade for Chicago Bears wide receiver Anthony Miller, according to a league source.

The Texans acquired Miller in an exchange of late-round draft picks days before veterans report for training camp.

"Thank you for everything Chicago," Miller wrote on Instagram. "I’m truly grateful and appreciative of everything the organization has done for me. As for my former teammates I hope y’all boys ball out!! With that being said, Houston let’s get it!😤"

Miller caught 49 passes for 485 yards and two touchdowns last season. The former University of Memphis standout has 134 career receptions for 1,564 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Miller is due a $1.21 million salary in the final year of his rookie contract. Miller, a former second round draft pick, joins a team that has Randall Cobb and Keke Coutee in the slot. Brandin Cooks is the Texans' top wide receiver and the team drafted University of Michigan wide receiver Nico Collins in the third round.
