The Texans are working out former New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons cornerback Chris Williamson, according to a league source.
Williamson is a former Giants seventh-round draft pick from Minnesota.
Williamson transferred to Minnesota from Florida. As a senior, he had 96 tackles, 7 1/2 for losses, 3 1/2 sacks, nine passes defensed and two interceptions.
Cut by the Giants last year after spending most of the season on their practice squad, Williamson joined the Falcons last season before signing a reserve-future deal.
He has been off and on their practice squad this season and was cut by them again this week.
