Texans safety Justin Reid's injuries not considered serious

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Texans veteran safety Justin Reid didn't sustain serious knee or ankle injuries Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Initially, Reid was down and being attended to by trainers before trudging off the field. Reid would return after hopping on a stationary bicycle on the sideline to finish the game.

"He had a slight ankle and knee injury, and we'll more more (Monday)," Texans coach David Culley said.

Reid finished with a season-high two tackles for losses with six tackles overall, including five solos.

Reid and defensive end Jacob Martin combined to tackle 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell for a loss in the first quarter to force a turnover on downs.

The Texans faltered in the second half, losing 23-7 at Levi's Stadium.
