The Texans have activated veteran linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis from the reserve-COVID-19 list.
Pierre-Louis has been limited to eight games and one start due to a positive test for the coronavirus in addition to a hamstring injury that forced him to be placed on injured reserve.
He has 10 tackles this season.
Signed to a two-year, $8 million contract during the offseason, Pierre-Louis played in 13 games last season for the Washington Football Team and recorded 56 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and two passes defensed.
The Texans shifted tight end Jeff Driskel to the reserve-COVID-19 list from injured reserve.
Driskel broke his collarbone against the Jacksonville Jaguars, ending his season.
