Cincinnati pass rusher Myjai Sanders visits Texans

Cincinnati pass rusher Myjai Sanders visited the Texans on Thursday.

He's a former Chuck Bednarik Award semifinalist.

Sanders (6-foot-5, 228 pounds) is an all-conference selection who had 40 tackles, 6 1/2 for losses, 3 1/2 sacks and six pass breakups.

The Florida native had 10 1/2 tackles for losses and seven sacks as a junior.

As a sophomore, he had four sacks, 36 tackles and seven for losses.

Sanders chose Cincinnati over offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Washington State and Central Florida.

At the NFL scouting combine, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.67 seconds with a 10.57 10-yard split, a 4.37 short shuttle, 33-inch vertical leap, 10-foot broad jump and bench pressed 225 pounds 20 times.
