Source: Kyle Hamilton to visit Texans

Notre Dame consensus All-American safety Kyle Hamilton, one of the largest and rangiest safeties to enter the league in years, visits the Pittsburgh Steelers today and the Houston Texans on Wednesday, according to a league source. 

Hamilton has eight career interceptions, including four in his first year as a starter.

The Georgia native has run the 40-yard dash in 4.59 seconds with a 38-inch vertical leap. a 6.9 three-cone drill and a 4.32 short shuttle time.

Hamilton is the son of a former professional basketball player and his brother played basketball at Penn.

Hamilton had four interceptions as a freshman and was named a first-team all-conference and third-team All-American as a sophomore when he recorded a team-high 63 tackles, 4 1/2 for losses, one interception and six pass breakups.

He was limited to seven starts last season due to a knee injury and was named All-American again. He had a team-high three interceptions with 35 tackles, two for losses and four pass breakups.
