Manchester City, the English Premier League reigning champion, will square off against Club América of Liga BBVA MX from the highest division of Mexico soccer.
The match is set for July 20 at 7:30 p.m. at NRG Stadium.
This represents Manchester City's first international friendly in over two years due to COVID-19 restrictions. It's their first time at NRG Stadium since July 20, 2017.
Club América returns to NRG Stadium for the first time since meeting F.C. Barcelona in 2006. Manchester City will play a second U.S. preseason fixture to be announced later.
