The Texans' trade for veteran tight end Adam Shaheen from the Miami Dolphins has been voided due to a failed physical, according to a league source.
The Texans had acquired Shaheen in addition to a 2023 seventh-round draft pick in exchange for a 2023 sixth-round draft pick, but that deal is no longer valid and he reverts back to the Dolphins.
Shaheen is a former Chicago Bears second-round draft pick from Ashland.
He's in the final year of his contract and is due $1.65 million.
