The Texans cut undrafted rookie defensive tackle Damion Daniels, per a league source.
Daniels (6-foot-3, 325 pounds) is a Dallas native who was a team captain and Defensive Lineman of the Year for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and honorable-mention All-Big Ten Conference selection.
He had 33 tackles and two for losses before getting injured against Wisconsin and missing the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury and turf toe.
