Kirk Morrison, former NFL linebacker and broadcaster for ESPN College Football and the Los Angeles Rams, joins Next Up to recap the NFL Honors which saw Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud being named the Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and and defensive end Will Anderson Jr. winning Defensive Rookie of the Year. However, head coach DeMeco Ryans did not win Coach of the Year, with the award going to the Browns' Kevin Stefanski. "The Houston Texans should have swept all the awards," Morrison said.
Former Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was named the Texans' first Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee. When number 80 for the Texans was in, "you knew you're going to be in for a long day."
With the Texans inching deeper into the offseason and closer to the draft, Morrison says the focus should be on "how can I help out C.J. Stroud" when adding players to the roster.
