Yordan Batting Second, NFL Says Fumbling Through End Zone Rule Stays

Chris Gordy of Next Up and Ross Villarreal of The Matt Thomas Show review Houston Astros manager Joe Espada changing the batting lineup for their spring training matchup against the Washington Nationals. Designated hitter Yordan Álvarez is batting second and José Urquidy is the starting pitcher.

Per league reports, the NFL competition committee will not be changing the ruling that if a ball is fumbled into the end zone and out of bounds, it is a touchback and the team that fumbled will lose possession of the ball. The competition committee defended the highly-debated rule, stating that the player carrying the ball is responsible for maintaining control.

Following the 123-110 loss Sunday at the Toyota Center, the Rockets travel to Oklahoma City in a rematch against the Thunder. Adam Lefkoe of NBA on TNT joins to preview the Western Conference matchup being broadcasted on national television.

Chris and Ross talk with WFAN host Paul Dottino about running back Saquon Barkley's future in the NFL, break down the latest Texans free agent odds and more.
