Will Texans Make A Trade Prior To NFL Deadline? 'I Wouldn't Rule It Out'

With defense and special teams forcing three turnovers, the Houston Texans still could not get it done against the Green Bay Packers, losing 24-22 at Lambeau Field. Brandon McManus made his Packers debut and nailed a 45-yard field goal as time expired to secure the victory.

KPRC reporter Aaron Wilson joins Next Up to discuss Green Bay snapping the Texans three-game winning streak.

The Texans did not have five starters in the lineup on defense and were unable to stop the Packers in the final drive.

The offense struggled as C.J. Stroud was 10 of 21 for a career-low 86 yards and was sacked four times. "Not every sack was on the offensive line," Wilson said. However, the offensive line has "got to be coachable" after allowing seven quarterback hits.

The heavy pressure on Stroud contributed to a disappointing passing game, with Tank Dell recording no receptions on four targets.

Sunday's underwhelming performance brought up questions about the Texans' roster depth and whether general manager Nick Caserio could make a move prior to the NFL trade deadline on November 5. "I wouldn't rule it out," Wilson said.
