The Dodgers Astros Series Was A Win For Baseball

It didn't matter if you were a fan of the Astros. It didn't matter if you were a fan of the Dodgers. All that mattered was that you were a fan the game of baseball. It only lasted 2 games but the short series between the Dodgers and Astros did not disappoint. At least not from the fan side. The baseball side is one thing. The fan side however, it was a sight to see. Both fanbases came in ready to duel it out with each other in the stands. No, I don't mean duel it out with violence. I mean with their gear, their chants, and their reactions. As a spectator from the media side, it really was awesome.

First off, let's look at the gear.

I for one love it when fans go all out with their outfits. From customized jerseys, to chains, to entire outfits, I love it all, and both sides brought it.

Second, the chants, cheers and jeers.

Lastly, the reactions.

This game, this series, baseball needed this. It was an absolute win for a league that needs more big games like this in the early months. When baseball does well, the fans act peacefully and humanely.

Well, maybe, not all the fans.

This season series is tied 1-1 with the next 2 games at Dodger Stadium in August. Baseball is back! And, I'm here for every second of it.
