Framber Valdez shoved Wednesday night at Minute Maid Park to lead the Astros over the A's, 3-0. Valdez gave up just two hits in seven innings pitched while striking out eight.
Jeremy Pena continued his hot start with two hits in the win.
The Astros look for the sweep tonight with Cristian Javier on the mound. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10pm with the On-Deck Show starting at 6pm.
