It was announced early this morning that four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel will be announcing his retirement at the end of the 2022 season. In his illustrious 16-year career, he scored 122 Podiums, 3076 points, and is third all-time with 53 grand Prix victories. Over the course of His career, Vettel drove for BMW Sauber, Torro Rosso, Red Bull, Ferrari, and Aston-Martin although, the Bulk of his success was his time at Red Bull.
Throughout his career, Sebastian was one of F1's most popular drivers. After winning a race, he would always do victory donuts right underneath the finish line. He wasn't just popular with the fans as he is easily the most respected and revered driver on the grid. Back in 2018 after Lewis Hamilton clinched his fifth title at Abu-Dhabi, Lewis, Fernando Alonso, and Vettel all did victory donuts. This was an iconic moment in F1 History as all three drivers dominated the 2000s through 2010s winning 11 combined world championships. What's next for Vettel is what will bring much intrigue but if there is one thing that's certain is that F1 will not be the same without him.
