Dan Mathews is a native Houstonian and a proud St Thomas HS graduate, having covered Houston sports since 2009. Dan worked as an on-air host in Houston through 2012 covering the Rockets, Texans & Astros, before moving to Atlanta, where he worked for both 92.9 The Game and 680 The Fan, serving as a host, reporter and play-by-play broadcaster. In Atlanta, Dan broadcast games for Mercer University, and covered the Atlanta Braves and University of Georgia. He also served as Executive Producer of "The Chuck Oliver Show," covering all things college football. Dan came back to Houston in 2023, serving as producer for “The A-Team” and host of "The Night Cap", before teaming up as co-host of "The Sean Salisbury Show" in morning drive. Cole Thompson is a native Houstonian, having covered Houston sports for the past decade, with stops in Austin and San Antonio as well. For the past year, he has produced “The A-Team” on SportsTalk790 and hosted "The Night Cap". A graduate of the University of Alabama, Thompson previously hosted “Just Sayin It” for three years on SportsMap Radio. A college football junkie, Thompson has always been out of the box with his on-air style, listening to his gut than the numbers. He’s an energy-first, numbers second personality that loves to fight back against what the facts say when the eyes tell the story.
