Automated strike zones are the way of the future according to writers, experts and some people in MLB. My response, are you sure about that?
Is this the Angel Hernandez version of an automated strike zone? What a horrible call. I kind of feel bad for the actual umpire because he's just reporting back what the automated system tells him. Keep this out of Major League Baseball. Knowing Rob Manfred however, the automated strike zone system will be in place by the start of next season. Thoughts and prayers for anyone who has to step foot in that batters box.
