Playing one of a two-game exhibition set in Kansas City on Monday night, the Houston Astros looked to be in mid-season form already in a 6-3 victory. Lance McCullers was impressive on the mound, throwing five innings, allowing one run off four hits with six strikeouts.
The Astros scored early in the first, with an RBI double from Alex Bregman to score George Springer. Josh Reddick and Martin Maldonado each had a homerun in the fourth inning.
