Despite clawing back after trailing much of the game, the Houston Rockets by couldn’t knock down shots in the final few minutes against the Portland Trailblazers, losing 110-102. Portland finished on an 10-2 run.
After exciting finishes in their last games against Dallas and Milwaukee, the Rockets couldn’t pull out a victory in this one.
James Harden led the way with 23 points, while Russell Westbrook scored 15, but Houston was outrebounded 64-39, and made just 19 of their 53 attempted threes.
The Rockets will be back in action on Thursday night facing the Los Angeles Lakers.
