CINCINNATI – Houston Football will face Cincinnati in the American Athletic Conference Championship Game from the Bearcats' Nippert Stadium at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, Dec. 4.

The two teams finished tied atop The American standings. Houston (10-1, 8-0 American) notched its second undefeated conference season in program history and first since 2011. Cincinnati (12-0, 8-0 American) is making its third straight AAC title game appearance.
Houston has won 11 conference championships all-time including defeating Temple in the inaugural American Athletic Conference Championship Game on Dec. 5, 2015. The Cougars are making their fifth conference title game appearance (2021, 2015, 2011, 2009, 2006).
The Cougars, who are ranked as high as No. 16 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, take on UConn in the regular season finale at 11 a.m. CT Saturday. The contest can be seen on CBS Sports Network and heard on KPRC 950 AM.
