The Houston Astros fell to the Texas Rangers on Sunday night 9-1, dropping two out of three vs the Rangers for the first time at Minute Maid Park since 2018. While the Astros dropped to 7-9, the Rangers improved to 9-6 and are leading the AL West.
The Astros have started 7-9 for the fourth straight season, but a tough schedule is coming up with series vs the Blue Jays, Braves and Rays. The nine runs the Astros allowed on Sunday was the most runs Houston has allowed at home since June 2021.
