Jayden Daniels for Heisman, KJ Jefferson to the Portal?, Spencer Rattler to the Draft, SEC Portal News
On today's show, there's a ton of roster movement already in the SEC, with guys declaring for the NFL draft like South Carolina QB Spencer Rattler & WR Dakereon Joyner, and Kentucky OL Kenneth Horsey, while some big names are entering the transfer portal including perhaps Arkansas QB KJ Jefferson.
And the SEC has a chance at another Heisman winner in LSU’s Jayden Daniels. We’ll talk with Cody Worsham as he makes the case for Jayden to take home the hardware. Should Daniels win the award over Oregon's Bo Nix and Washington's Michael Penix? He's the SEC's lone chance to win the trophy this season and the join recent SEC winners like Bryce Young, DeVonta Smith and Joe Burrow.

Stan Norfleet and Chris Gordy of Next Up discuss the Houston Texans' struggle to maintain a consistent offensive line, especially with Tytus Howard expected to miss the remainder of the season because of a knee injury. Texans Insider Aaron Wilson Breaks Down Roster Changes Ahead of Broncos Matchup
KPRC reporter Aaron Wilson joins Stan Norfleet and Chris Gordy on Next Up to discuss the roster changes the Houston Texans have made ahead of their week 13 matchup against the Denver Broncos. The Texans' offensive line continues to struggle in maintaining a starting lineup as Tytus Howard is expected to miss the remainder of the season because of a knee injury. The Texans also release veteran cornerback Shaq Griffin and elevate Desmond King from the practice squad to the active roster. "You have to hope that Derek Stingley Jr. and Steven Nelson stay healthy," Wilson said. With all the lineup changes and the Broncos on a five-game win-streak, Wilson says "it's going to be a tough football game. The Broncos are legitimate again."
Rockets Analyst Ben DuBose Talks Elimination From In-Season Tournament
Rockets analyst and editor of The Rockets Wire Ben DuBose joins Next Up to discuss the Houston Rockets elimination from the in-season tournament following their 115-121 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. The Rockets have lost their last four away games. "They've been competitive in all of them," but "what the Rockets don't have is a perimeter-based scorer and playmaker that can consistently make tough buckets late in a game," DuBose said. Other issues that contributed to another road loss was center Alperen Şengün's fatigue late in the game. "Hopefully as the years progress, he keeps getting in better shape and is able to give you in the final five minutes what he gives you in the first 30," DuBose said. DuBose concludes that even though "the defense is there," the Rockets are still in need of offensive improvements.

Texans Insider Jonathan Alexander Talks Keys to Making the Playoffs
Houston Chronicle writer Jonathan Alexander joins Next Up to give some insight on what Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans is preaching to his team as they move forward with the reason of the season. "They can't shoot themselvesin the foot," Alexander said regarding the Texans loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Alexander attributes the loss to the Texans simply getting out-coached by the Jaguars and quarterback C.J. Stroud overlooking the shorter, safer completions. "C.J. has this tendency to really want to get the big play," Alexander said. "Ownership was patient" and was rewarded with growth, but "the defense has to be a little more consistent" if the Texans want to make the playoffs, Alexander said.
