The Houston Astros have claimed RHP Kaleb Ort from the Baltimore Orioles and optioned him to Triple A Sugar Land.
Ort, 32, has spent the entire season with Triple A Norfolk. He has spent parts of three seasons in the Majors (2021-23) with the Boston Red Sox, recording a 6.27 ERA (16ER/23IP) with 24 strikeouts. Ort only pitched an inning or two in all of his big league outings. Following today’s move the Astros 40-man roster is full.
