Multiple media outlets are reporting free agent starting pitcher Justin Verlander has agreed to a one-year deal with the San Francisco Giants. The 42-year old is entering his 20th big league season. The deal is reportedly worth $15 million.
Verlander went 73-28 across his seven seasons in Houston, with 962 strikeouts and a 2.71 ERA, and won two World Series titles, as well as two Cy Young awards with the Astros.
